The "RFID Test Bed" facility for the development and demonstration of RFID radio wave propagation characteristics is one of the largest in the country as a permanent RFID evaluation facility.
This is an "RFID test bed" facility for the development and demonstration of technologies related to RFID wave propagation characteristics. It consists of a large anechoic chamber (6.5m × 4.5m × H3.4m) and RFID-specific broadband reader/writer and transmission/reception antennas, allowing for precise evaluation of large managed objects in conditions close to actual installation environments. ◆ It is one of the largest permanent RFID evaluation facilities in Japan. ◆ It can be used by anyone involved in RFID research, development, and business, including companies, schools, and research institutions. * This test bed was established as part of the new technology development facility (IoT test bed) project of the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), which was selected for funding on March 13, 2020.
